                                                            1000 WORKOUTS CELEBRATION FOR CAROL 
                                                             
                                                            Carol joined Curves in August 2004 and has just reached 1000 Workouts. Carol makes activity part of her everyday routine, walking to Curves for her regular workout…. and it certainly shows! Carol is pictured on her ‘1000 Day’. She is such a fantastic, healthy, happy Chick and an Inspiration to Many.

                                                            HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to these Wimborne Girlies who celebrated Workout Milestones this month. Linda O and Christine H at 700, Carol T, Sue S and Cherry C with 600. New 500 Club Members include Mary M, Liz E and Shirley W. Angela P, Hilary M and Lesley H clocked up 400 each, Karen W and Jo C hit 300, Jean C, Danielle M, Kay B and Jayne H all went past 200. Karen A, Sue P, Emma A and Pat D reached their first T-shirts at 100 workouts!! Amazing Ladies…

                                                    Keep the fluids coming! Dehydration causes the body to hoard water, which can lead you to carry up to four excess pounds around your midsection. Try to drink six to eight 8-ounce glasses of water or other fluids a day, more in hot weather and when exercising. 
                                                     
                                                    BEYOND THE CIRCUIT BENEFITS 
                                                      
                                                    Happiness. Women who regularly workout at Curves report that they are enjoying a higher quality of life - they feel better able to perform everyday activities, feel better physically and emotionally, have more energy, feel more social, and are happier with their bodies. 
                                                      
                                                    Younger arteries. As the body ages, the arteries are subjected to all kinds of nicks and tears. When your body tries to repair the damage, plaque buildup and inflammation can result, closing off the arteries and setting the stage for a heart attack or stroke.  1 July to 31 August, new members can enjoy the first six weeks of 
membership at Curves Wimborne for just £39   Curves is a 
member of the Fitness Industry Association (FIA) and took part in the MoreActive4Life programme in 2009. It
 was designed to complement the Government’s Change4Life campaign and increase public awareness of the 
benefits of regular physical activity and leading an active lifestyle. 
Ladies were offered the opportunity to take up a ’six week challenge’ of
 exercise at Curves, whilst experiencing the excellent Curves member 
service and seeing positive changes in their own fitness levels. Over 
3,000 women took part in Curves in the United Kingdom.  We are 
proud to be participating in the programme again this year.  Women
 love Curves! Three main positives were reported back to us, Value for 
Money, Time and Encouragement. We saw some phenomenal reductions in 
weight, inches and, most importantly, Body Fat, all of which will have a
 direct and positive impact on health. A few examples of successes 
below, demonstrate how effective Curves is in improving health and

SUCCESSFUL SARAH Bush is promoted to Manager of Curves Wimborne. This is to acknowledge Sarah’s incredible learning curve over the last year. Sarah has taken training for, and responsibility of, the finance, bookkeeping and paperwork aspects of Curves Wimborne.
